Course Overview

This is a Level 3 Award in Hostile Environment Awareness, with the aim to raise the level of knowledge and understanding for individuals working or planning to work in hostile or potentially hostile environments.

The awarding organisation for this qualification is ProQual Awarding Body and the regulatory body is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).

This qualification has been accredited onto the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

This course is based on pre course e-learning followed by 1 day Instructor-led combined theory revision and practical and then 2 days, Real life Immersive Role-Play Scenarios Training

Performance Objective

The Course objectives includes, but are not limited to:

  • Empowers Student with ability to remain safe in hostile areas
  • Provides Student with knowledge relevant to travel in sensitive regions
  • Gain an understanding of Gender based violence and mental health awareness
  • Provides the tools to remain safe during a terrorist attack
  • Students find their inner levels of strength during real life role play scenarios
  • Gain a deeper knowledge of emergency first aid and the confidence to apply the techniques

Our courses are held at our training venue in Onley, near Rugby in the East Midlands, where we can comfortably seat up to 30 Delegates per course.

Additionally, we have a training location in the USA.

However, depending on the type of course selected, we are very flexible and our Instructors can travel to a client’s venue, if that is more convenient for you. The only exception is our H.E.A.T. (Hostile Environments Awareness Training) Course, which must be conducted at our training venue, due to the course content and requirements.
