- Itinerary – This is the search plan in the event of your going missing.
- Take out travel insurance and ensure it covers you for any activities you are likely to perform.
- Medical insurance services – Note the contact details and retain the documents. Check that your insurance will cover all the locations to which you intend to travel.
- Embassy details – If you are in an obscure country, then register with your embassy on arrival.
Remember! Scan all your documents and have them all backed up in different locations. For example, keep copies at home and at your office, so they can be accessed, if lost.
